Sapphire 24/7 Bookdrop and Ruby Pro Sorting System
Thanks to the Sapphire 24/7 Bookdrop collection and lending system, the library is open 24/7. Thanks to the durable and weather-resistant materials, this bookdrop can be placed both indoors and outdoors. The return point recognizes library materials (books or AV materials) with an RFID tag and opens the hatch. The user-friendly Light Indication System (LIS) guides the user through the returns process.
In the event that the unit becomes “offline” on the network, service continues as all returns are buffered in memory. The Sapphire 24/7 Bookdrop software is web-based, monitoring, diagnostics, maintenance/updates are done through it. So handy!
Ruby Pro Sorting System
Manually sorting returned materials is a time-consuming and costly task for libraries. This process can be automated with the Ruby Pro Sorting System. The system is modular and can be scaled up from 2 to 3, 5, 7, 9 etc. sorting positions. Each sorting position has its tailor-made sorting bin. The moving bottom sinks as the content increases. This ensures that the fall path of the materials is as short as possible to prevent damage. At the same time, the lightweight bin can guarantee maximum loading capacity. With braked castors, the bins have maximum freedom of movement.
