On Thursday, May 19, 2022, Xafax organized the webinar “Activity ticketing: Online and offline nice and safe” in collaboration with ActiveTickets. In the webinar, our partners ActiveTickets, and Xafax, talked about the optimal customer journey for visiting activities at libraries.
From counter to self-service
Visitors to activities now still buy tickets at the counter. This means that the counter employee is busy selling tickets and that queues may form at the counter. Regular visitors to the library must then join at the back to, for example, return or renew their books.
By using self-service kiosks, regular visitors and guests can do all actions in one place. This way your employees have more time for their primary activities.
Privacy and a safe visitor experience
The customer journey for purchasing tickets and the visit itself to the library has a number of contact moments where security and privacy require attention. Personal data is exchanged when purchasing, both online and via the self-service kiosk or at the counter. You must handle this safely so that you comply with the GDPR, but also provide a pleasant experience for your visitor. But how? These questions were answered in the webinar together with ActiveTickets.
