What was the question?

The customer asked us to deliver a new desktop and install Office 365 on a number of workstations. After installing this, our engineer noticed a potential problem. An on-premise domain controller still existed in the computers' memory, but it had become unusable after a fire.

The customer's request was to install a new PC with Office, but on the advice of the engineer, all PCs were subsequently removed from the domain and Office was installed everywhere. The domain only existed in the cache (memory) of the PCs and this would lead to problems in the future.

Satisfied with the transition

After a fire at the office, it was impossible for Klaver to work in the office for 4 months. The office has now been completely stripped and renovated and decorated with a green "agricultural" color palette. Before the fire, an on-premise domain controller was still running, but it became unusable after the fire. This only existed in the cache (memory) of the PCs. Klaver recently became a customer of Xafax ICT through the acquisition of NC systems. So far they are satisfied with the transition to Xafax ICT.
