What was the question?

We had the wish to make Wilnis golf park completely cashless. We also wanted to simplify the provision of access for our members. All this from one back office system. Xafax offers the possibility to fulfill our wishes through one application.

Our solutions

Cashless Golf has developed Xafax especially for the golf market. The solution bundles many applications in one system. At Wilnis golf park, members use the Cashless Golf app. This app facilitates access to various parking spaces and bag sheds. You can also pay with the app at the golf ball machine and at the Eijsink booq cash registers. Even on the terrace, users can easily pay via Eijsink hand terminals. The app is a perfect successor to the plastic card of the NGF (Dutch Golf Federation).

A family business for 31 years

Golfpark Wilnis is a real family business. The golf course has been around for over 31 years and has remained in the family all that time. The golf course was built on land that used to belong to the grandfather of the current owners and sisters Alice and Susan. Before the sisters took over the golf course in 1999, it belonged to their parents. After transferring the golf course to the sisters, they started a new golf course themselves in Vianen, about 30 kilometers away. In addition to the family, Tom Blasse is also a well-known face at Golfpark Wilnis. Tom has been active in the golf world for about 20 years and has therefore contributed to the fame of the golf course.

One of the first golf courses with a Xafax payment system

Golfpark Wilnis was one of the first golf courses in the Netherlands to use our Xafax payment system so extensively. After welcoming Wilnis as a customer, we can provide our services to more than 50 jobs in the Netherlands at the time of writing. We are also very active internationally in Europe and far beyond. The ambition to conquer America and Canada with Cashless Golf is currently also taking shape.

Our solution

You will immediately encounter the first Cashless Golf application when you drive onto the site. Members who want to play golf early can open the gate with the myCashless Golf app or club pass before the golf course opens. In addition, payment can be made via our platform at the catering establishments on the golf course. Most visitors to Golfpark Wilnis find it ideal that they can also pay at the golf ball machine with their debit card, ApplePay, GooglePay or credit card. Debit card in itself is not special, but the combination with our Cashless Golf platform is. It ensures that all user groups (regular members, one-off visitors, employees, etc.) can be served on the track.

Cashless Golf

With Cashless Golf, members and guests can pay with their debit card, credit card, membership card, tag, prepaid card or the app via the myCashless Golf platform. This includes paying in the catering industry, at the golf ball machine or the golf shop.

Cash register interface in combination with Eijsink booq

In the case of Golfpark Wilnis, we have linked our platform to Eijsink's booq cash register system. This allows members and guests on the terrace to pay directly at the Eijsink hand terminal and the voucher can be credited to their account.

Access control

In addition to the payment system, we have also installed access control. There is a terminal at the club gate that can be used to read QR codes. Members can open the gate here with the app if the club is not yet open early in the morning.

The implementation

According to Alice, the implementation of Cashless Golf went well. Xafax was always approachable, reachable and solution-oriented during the process. Xafax has also solved the challenges that have arisen well. "I can advise all golf courses to switch to the Xafax platform. All the functionalities we were looking for are available and everything can be found in reports that we can produce," says Alice.
